Nandini Tubular Batteries

The main reason to use our tubular batteries for your Inverter or solar is the multi-tube bag gauntlet and increased surface area of the positive plate. Advanced multi-tube bag gauntlets are constructed of 100% polyester of high-tenacity, multifilament yarns that are impregnated with an acrylic resin system and fixed crosswise to the tubes. Gauntlets commonly called PT Bags have the following characteristics:

  • High porosity
  • Low electrical resistance
  • A well-defined pore size that permits easy movement to the electrolyte, but at the same time reduces the active material shedding to a negligible amount
  • Good mechanical resistance and elasticity – The gauntlet resists the high pressure that the active material produces during its cyclical expansion.
  • The fabric holds the active material pressed to the lead spines ensuring stable performance.
  • Mechanical resistance to abrasion during cell assembly reduces scraps and pollution
  • Reduced release speed of antimony – The fabric keeping the active material all around the spines acts as a filter for the electrolyte, reducing the release speed of antimony from positive grids.
  • In contrast, in pasted plates, there is almost no distance between grid wires and electrolyte
  • Due to increased positive plate surface area, tubular batteries have 20% more electrical capacity than flat plate batteries of comparable size and weight.
  • With less positive plate shedding, tubular batteries also provide up to a 30% longer service life than flat plate batteries
  • NANDINI Inverter batteries are designed to provide a small amount of current consistently for longer durations of time.
  • All the backup power solutions, Inverters and UPS function by converting the DC current into AC current as all of our electric appliances run on AC power. UPS and Inverter batteries are also known as deep Cycle batteries as they discharged over a much longer time as compared to Auto batteries.
  • The design of these batteries is different.
  • The automotive batteries consist of large number of thin plates. This provides a large surface area of plates to react with the electrolyte to produce higher amount of current quickly.
  • The Inverter Batteries consist of lower number of plates which are much thinner as compared to auto batteries. The electrolyte volume of the inverter batteries is more so that the chemical reaction takes more time to produce current. This makes Inverter Batteries to provide a consistent amount of current for extended periods.

Our environmental care

Dispose your old or used lead acid battery to nearby torque dealer to avoid environmental impact

We pay you for old batteries and recycle them to save the environment from polluting.

Tips to properly manage used batteries:

  • By having them picked up by Our authorised distributor or dealer.
  • Avoid long term storage of batteries.
  • Store batteries upright in a secure, covered location on a sealed surface. Check for leaks often.
  • Tape or cap all terminals.
